The Regina Pats are heading into playoffs looking for a win against the Swift Current Broncos, their newest rivals this season.
This came right after the Pats beat the Broncos in a 3-2 game in overtime the day before, on Friday, March 16. The game was the seventh straight win of the season for the Pats, which was immediately broken by their loss against Swift Current.

In 1965 the Pats started their season by going 18 games without recording a single regulation loss. This record has remained in place for the past 50 years, as no Pats team has come close to beating the legendary starting streak.
